U10 Select Black Champions 2010 ECSA Indoor League
January 9, 2011 - The U10 Select Black captured the championship of the 2010 ECSA Indoor League. The team lost its first game of the season in overtime and then compiled seven straight victories, including the final game rematch with the undefeated Swansboro Pirates to claim the league crown. Team members are: Tracy S, Charlie T, Gaw J, Ethan B, Kolby J, and Zack W. The team is coached by Allen Whaley. Awesome season, Select Black!

U10 SWSC Select Black are Adidas Challenge Clash Finalists
Congratulations to the U10 SWSC Select Black on winning the silver medal in the Adidas Challenge Clash in Greensboro, NC over the November 20-21, 2010 weekend. The boys compiled victories against some of the best teams in the state before falling in the final minutes of the championship game, 5-4. Team members are: Steven Mantlo, Ethan Barbee, Kolby Jones, Zack Whaley, Isaiah Vazquez, Gaw Jones, Zack Bickford, Charlie Teachey, and Tracy Schmidt. The team is coached by Allen Whaley.

U10 Select Black - Beach Soccer Classic Champions

September 27, 2010 - On August 28-29, the U10 SWSC Select Black traveled to Wilmington and competed in the Beach Soccer Classic. The boys defeated 4 teams from the Capital Area Soccer League in Raleigh to win the gold medal and tournament championship. This was the second straight weekend the boys had competed in a tournament and returned home victorious. Team members are: Ethan B., Zack W., Zack B., Steven M., Isaiah V., Tracy S., Charlie T., and Gaw J. The team is coached by Allen Whaley.

SWSC Select teams are MHMS Champs
September 15, 2010 - Congratulations to the U10 Select Black Girls on winning the gold medal at the Matt Helms Memorial Shootout! The girls compiled a perfect 4 - 0 record with impressive victories over the JASA Lancers, RSC Lady Wildcats, SSA Lady Pirates, and the JASA Lancers again in the championship match. The team is coached by Tucker Hunt and Scot Thompson. Great job by this special group of young ladies!

August 2, 2010 - Congratulations to the U10 Select Black Boys team for their triumph in the Matt Helms Memorial Shootout! The boys played great soccer over the weekend and amassed a perfect 4-0 record with victories over the JASA Lancers, SSL Stingrays, Piney Green Wrath, and the RSC Tigers. What an awesome job by these young men! The team is coached by Allen Whaley.
